A successful novelist who has it all is plagued by a terrifying nightmare after surviving a traumatic experience. Convinced that the only way to understand what the dream means is by writing about it, he leaves to a remote home to begin work on his next novel – a thriller. But on his way there, he meets a drifter who confronts him with information that threatens to turn everything he knows to be true upside-down.
