Raised on a ranch, Doris Daley grew up loving words from the time she was young. She converted this passion into her life work – that of the cowboy poet. From books to readings at rodeos, other western events, and non-western events, Daley gets her inspiration from the land, and the people, places, and memories that have shaped her life.
