Slacker and mystery buff Wiley Roth gets shaken up when he finds a severed finger on his kitchen floor. He joins forces with his oddball father on a mission through the bizarre underside of Los Angeles, encountering incompetent police, mysterious neighbors, crooked taxidermists, psychics, and a beautiful girl -- all to find the finger's owner.
