When the son of a convicted criminal plagues the space center with a series of sabotages, Rocky must convince him that crime is not the solution. Instead of punishing him, Rocky takes Kip on a mission to a planet where Pinto Vortando is leading a civil revolt. Kip and Bobby save the day when Kip alters an electronic sound box to make it sound like a large fleet of Ranger ships is attacking Portando's headquarters.
