While many people come in and out of our lives, some of them like “Peeky” sparkle and deliver love to everyone around them. Beth, a middle-aged high-school teacher with a broken spirit, breaks her ankle while trying to save her elderly mother from a deadly fall. Grief-stricken and immobilized, she becomes a shut-in until Peeky, a quirky teenager girl arrives to help. Beth wants to be left alone but slowly warms to Peeky’s persistent charm.
